Consulting Services

RAMS Tech offers services in a variety of areas, which individually includes an iterative process that covers the whole system's life cycle and is performed by a team with separate specialist skills. We have knowledge and experience from working with individual specialist assignments or in projects and often work together with other consultants, who sometimes are tied to the project depending on content and demand.

The contractors are companies who need increased competence for a short or long period of time. The work is performed according to standards and the contractor's requests.

Below, six areas in which we offer services are presented.

Risk Management

Reliability Availability Maintainability – The probability that a system can perform its function under given circumstances and time interval, i.e. the ability to function without interruption. Possible methods of analysis are Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).

Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) – Adapt a system for optimal utilization of support functions, for example maintenance, spare parts, documentation and education during the system's life cycle with the goal to achieve as low life cycle cost as possible.

System Safety – Minimize the risk of damage to person, property or environment from a product or system. Hazard analysis, Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) are methods used within this field.

Functional Safety – The part of the system safety that depends on the function of a system or a component based on given input signals.

Requirement Management – An important stage in the system's development to limit larger sources of risk. First it is important to collect, describe and interpret the requirements in a correct way to then prioritize, document and test the system requirements in an effective way.

Risk Management – The goal is to systematically identify sources of risks and estimate different types of risks, e.g. economical, political or environmental related risks, for an organisation. Subsequently it is important to handle the risks an organisation can.
